Select from multiple varieties of sweet and spicy peppers including, Carmen, Jimmy Nardello, Lunchbox, Jalapeños, Red Ember and more! Please see variety descriptions below.
Carmen Peppers A beautiful Italian pepper with a tapered shape. Carmen are exceptionally sweet and excellent for salads or roasting.
Jimmy Nardello - This long, thin-skinned heirloom frying pepper has such a rich flavor that this variety has been placed in "The Ark of Taste" by the Slow Food organization. It's sweet and delicious when red and also excellent green for frying, the way you would a Padron. Also great to dry for use in the winter.
Lunchbox Peppers are small in size, sweet, and flavorful. They are for frying, pickling or, as the name suggests, lunchbox snacks to eat plain or dipped in hummus.
Red Ember Cayenne - Tremendous flavor on first bite, with warm heat that lingers. Thick enough for a bit of crunch when eaten fresh, but thin enough to dry easily. Just enough heat to satisfy "pepper heads" — who can eat the peppers whole — but mild enough to slice thinly onto a salad. Makes excellent powder, flakes, and hot sauce. Also nice fried or in stir fry.
Jalapeños - In California the jalapeños need no introduction. A handy ingredient to have at the ready during tomato season to make all your salsa dreams come true. Try roasting them on the BBQ or a cast iron pan for extra flavor!
Serrano -These chiles are typically used to add flavor and heat to salsas and other dishes. It has a bright, sharp taste and is quite hot.
