Pastry Dough: Organic flour, organic butter, water, organic sugar, salt.

Filling: Organic apples, organic sugar, cider vinegar, organic flour, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg.

Manufactured on equipment that processes milk, eggs, soy, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, and seeds. ***Known allergen ingredients.

Storage & Handling

This product is perishable and ships chilled.

Keep frozen until baking. Pre-heat your oven to 400°. For convection ovens, lower the given temperature to 375°. If your pastries brown too quickly, cover them with a loose sheet of foil. We include parchment sheets with each shipment and recommend that you use them to line your baking tray. For a golden brown crust, brush the dough with cream, milk, or an egg-wash. Sweet pastries may be sprinkled with sugar if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Our Process

Small batch flaky, buttery pastry dough encases hand-sliced sweet and tart organic apples in these fruit-forward Apple Tartlets. Cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg are sprinkled onto the apples to lend a warm to these delicious pastries - just like eating a palm-sized apple pie! Try an Apple Tarlet for an easy breakfast, or top your with vanilla ice cream for an extra special dessert.

This product is perishable and will arrive chilled in a cardboard cooler for pick-up at the CSA site. All add-on items are labeled with your name on the side and the product is listed on the label. If you order multiple items, you may have more than one add-on box. We REUSE our boxes and packing materials so please return these to your pick-up location. Keep frozen until baking.
