Storage & Handling

This product is perishable and ships chilled. Upon arrival, freeze for later use or thaw fully to room temperature before serving. Once thawed, serve within approximately 12 hours.

Our Process

Our Almond Torte is made in small batches with the highest quality ingredients available to create rich yet perfectly balanced flavor and decadent almond taste. We source high quality Mandolin almond paste as a key ingredient to capture the best almond-y flavor without any of the corn syrup common to generic almond pastes. We carefully grind our almond paste and sugar together during the mixing process, infusing almonds into every scrumptious bite and ensuring the smoothest possible texture. Very little sugar goes a long way for sweetness in this simple but carefully crafted dessert. This torte keeps well and is perfect to serve any time of day. It pairs beautifully with a fresh fruit compote, Frog Hollow Conserve, or a simple scoop of ice cream due to its absorbent nature.

This product is perishable and will arrive chilled in a cardboard cooler for pick-up at the CSA site. All add-on items are labeled with your name on the side and the product is listed on the label. If you order multiple items, you may have more than one add-on box. We REUSE our boxes and packing materials so please return these to your pick-up location.
